1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the iTaikan website (itaikan.com) and our training services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services Description
iTaikan provides online IT training services including but not limited to:
- IESM: Scrum Master Training — A structured program for aspiring Scrum Masters
- Jira Training — Hands-on training for managing projects using Jira
- Virtual Scrum — Group-based interactive Scrum practice sessions
- Project Management Trainings — Curated third-party project management programs
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for professionals aged 18 and above. By enrolling in our training programs, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Enrollment and Payment
- Enrollment in training programs is subject to batch availability and capacity.
- Payment terms, including amounts and due dates, will be communicated before enrollment confirmation.
- All fees must be paid in full before or as agreed upon enrollment to secure your spot in a batch.
- Payment methods accepted will be communicated during the enrollment process.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the batch start date may be eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future batch.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the batch start date may be subject to a cancellation fee or may be offered credit for a future batch instead of a refund.
- No-shows or withdrawals after the training has begun are not eligible for refunds.
- iTaikan reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training batches due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, enrolled participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future batch.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, training materials, presentations, and software, is the property of iTaikan or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.
- Training materials are provided solely for personal educational use during and after the training program.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, or create derivative works from any training materials without prior written consent from iTaikan.
- The iTaikan name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names are trademarks of iTaikan.
7. User Conduct
When participating in our training programs and using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment
- Participate respectfully and constructively in training sessions
- Not share login credentials or training access with unauthorized individuals
- Not record, screenshot, or distribute training sessions without explicit permission
- Not engage in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior during training sessions
- Respect the privacy and contributions of fellow participants
iTaikan reserves the right to remove participants who violate these conduct guidelines without refund.
8. Third-Party Services
Our services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Jira, and partner training providers. We are not responsible for the terms, policies, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
For curated Project Management Trainings offered through partner providers, additional terms from those providers may apply. We will communicate any such terms before enrollment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- iTaikan provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that our training programs will result in specific career outcomes, certifications, or employment.
- iTaikan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific training program in question.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iTaikan, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
